驰援甘肃地震灾区儿童!
2023年12月18日,甘肃省临夏州积石山县6.2级地震造成了重大破坏和人员伤亡,联合国儿童基金会向中国政府和人民表示诚挚慰问,向遇难者表示深切哀悼。联合国儿童基金会驻华办事处正在紧急调配资源,提供人道主义援助支持,并在应急援助中确保儿童优先。

2023年12月21日,山东省青岛市即墨区,由联合国儿童基金会提供的紧急救援物资正在进行包装与运输,准备运抵甘肃省积石山县,用于援助当地受灾儿童。
12月22日,由联合国儿童基金会提供的第一批人道主义物资陆续抵达甘肃省积石山县,用于援助当地受6.2级地震影响的儿童。这些物资包括为30000名儿童青少年提供的加厚外套、棉裤和加绒卫衣等44500件冬衣。
联合国儿童基金会正与国家级和地方各级政府合作伙伴紧密合作,将这些物资送到受灾儿童手中。同时,联合国儿童基金会与合作伙伴保持密切沟通,了解甘肃省和青海省受地震影响的儿童及其家庭的需求,随时准备提供进一步援助。
*联合国儿童基金会驻华办事处将依据受灾地区的实际需求和情况分配和使用紧急援助资金,超出当地实际需求的部分将依据2021-2025年国别方案的实际项目需求进行统一调配,为身处困境中的中国儿童提供全面支持。
Emergency assistance to children affected by Gansu Earthquake
On 18 December 2023, a magnitude-6.2 earthquake jolted Jishishan county of Linxia Hui Autonomous Prefecture in northwest China's Gansu Province, causing significant damage and casualties. UNICEF expresses its sincere condolences to the Government and people of China, and expresses its deep condolences to the victims. UNICEF China is urgently deploying resources to provide humanitarian assistance to ensure children are at the heart of the response.

Your support will help us provide winter clothing, quilts, and other much-needed assistance to children and their families affected by the earthquake.*
On 22 December, the first batch of humanitarian supplies for children provided by UNICEF is starting to arrive in Jishishan, Gansu Province which was impacted by the 6.2-magnitude earthquake that struck the area. The supplies contain 44,500 winter clothes, including coats, pants and sweatshirts for 30,000 young children and adolescents.
UNICEF is working closely with national and local government partners to get these supplies to impacted children. UNICEF is also in close communication with our partners to monitor the situation and identify what other supplies and support are needed for children and their families in Gansu and Qinghai provinces affected by the earthquake.
*UNICEF China will allocate and use emergency assistance funds according to the actual needs and circumstances of the earthquake-affected areas, and the excess will go to a pool fund to support the implementation of China Country Programme in the cycle of 2021-2025, providing all kinds of support to children in need.
